Google has announced the highly rumored Motorola Nexus 6. And to state it simply, the Device is a Beast in every aspect.
The handset is the first smartphone to come with Android 5.0 Lollipop, and features a 5.96-inch QHD AMOLED display boasting a resolution of 2560×1440 pixels with a 493 ppi pixel density and Gorilla Glass 3 protection.
It’s powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 Chipset clocked at 2.7GHz, with Adreno 420 GPU, and 3GB of RAM. Unlike previous versions, the new Nexus 6 comes with 32 and 64GB of internal storage on board. Also, the device has a massive 3,220 mAh battery.
Motorola Nexus 6 measures 82.98 x 159.26 x 10.06 mm, and weighs 184 grams. On the rear, the handset features a 13MP camera with Optical Image Stabilization(OIS), f2.0 aperture, HDR+ and 4K video recording capabilities, as well as a 2MP front-facing camera.
Nexus 6 will be available for pre-order through the Google Play Store in late October starting at $649. There are two colors to choose from – Midnight Blue or Cloud White.
Additionally, the Nexus 6 will head to 28 countries across Europe, Asia-Pacific and North America starting later this year, and through the first quarter of 2015.
