Apple has announced the iPhone 6 and there are two models of the handset, the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, and both models comes with a new Retina HD Display.
The iPhone 6 comes with a 4.7 inch display with a resolution of 1334 x 750 pixels(326ppi). It also has the anodized aluminum case with ion-strengthened glass that curves around the front.
The iPhone 6 Plus comes with a 5.5 inch display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels(400ppi).
The iPhone 6 is 6.9mm thick and the iPhone 6 plus is 7.1mm thick.
The iPhone 6 is powered by the new Apple A8 processor, which Apple claims features a 25 percent faster processor and 50 percent faster graphics. The new M8 co-processor can calculate distance including flight of stairs. Also there is now a Barometer inside which now collect atmospheric data.
The iPhone 6 has an 8MP iSight camera, 1.5µ pixels, ƒ/2.2 aperture, and the camera features a new sensor, with Focus Pixels, which are designed to improve focusing, and Apple claims this technology has only previously been found in DSLR cameras.
The 8 megapixel camera can record full HD video at 60 frames per second, and the new slow mo mode can record video at up to 240 frames per second. There is also a new FaceTime HD camera on the front of the handset, the new camera is designed to bring in 81 percent more light.
The new iPhone models with come with LTE-Advanced, which offers download speeds of up to 150 Mbps, and it will also come with VoLTE depending on the carrier. The handsets also come with 802.11ac WiFi and WiFi calling.
The handset will be available in three colors, and Apple is also launching some new silicone cases.
The iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus will go up for pre-order on the 12th of September, and both handsets will go on sale on the 19th of September.
