There have been a lot of rumors about a number of manufactures working on smartwatches and one of those is HP. We finally have information on the HP Smart Watch. Honestly, since the Moto 360 was announced there was a general consensus about it being the most gorgeous smart watches announced till now, but looks like HP now holds that achievement.
The HP Smartwatch will be compatible with Google’s Android OS and Apple’s iOS device. HP has teamed up with retailer Gilt for the device and they are working with U.S. designer Michael Bastion on the design.
The new HP Smartwatch will feature a Circular, 44mm Stainless Steel Case. It will also come with interchangeable watch straps, that will be available in black rubber, brown leather and olive green nylon and a limited edition black version.
According to Michael Bastion, the design cues came from luxury automobiles, namely interior features like the dashboard and trim.
HP will add the watch’s smart features, which will include notifications like email, text and calls, along with user controls for music and other apps. HP will also supply the software,
The new HP Smartwatch will also come with its own app for iOS and Android, which will apparently allow you to customize a range of things on the device. The HP Smartwatch will apparently debut this fall.
