This is a really Useful Gadget. These days people are more likely to forget there House keys than your Smartphone. Now, you can remove the worry by combining both- CalypsoKey lives inside its own special iPhone case. Tapping the case to its corresponding access point will activate near-field communication technology and a dual-band RFID antenna — and unlock the door.

Nest Thermostat learns your behavior and adjusts itself accordingly. It has been designed by the same man who Designed the iPods. That means it has the same elegant design and easy user interface that we all know.

The thermostat is intended to save you energy and money by automatically learning your patterns and behavior and adjusting itself accordingly. For instance, if you regularly after waking up come to the dining hall at the same time every day and set the temp to say 80°F(26°C), it stores and learns that info. Then, using motion sensor technology, if it doesn’t sense your presence every morning, it will figure out you’re away and will adjust the temp to save on energy.

Using an iOS app, the Nest can controlled remotely via Wi-Fi connection. So you turn up the Air-Conditioning while you are coming Home.

This vacuum has a wireless command center that schedules cleanings and allows users to control the device from anywhere in the house. Using a touchscreen remote, you can steer your Roomba to any spot in the house. Roomba can handle most any job; it has a three-stage cleaning process to vacuum carpets, hardwood, tile and linoleum floors, and it will automatically adjust to the different floor surfaces.

If it’s running low on juice, the Roomba heads back to the Home Base to dock and recharge between cleanings.

For $99, you can buy the Switch + Motion bundle, granting you motion-activated switch functionality — simply walk by it, and it will activate the command. The sensor can read motion from 10 feet away and will turn on or off whatever is plugged into the switch.

Digital Habits have created an iOS Docking Mirror. The Product  slides open to dock your iPhone or iPod and play music. Simply wave your hand under the mirror, where the motion-activated sensors live, to switch tracks or adjust volume.

The Logitech Alert 750n Indoor Master System offers powerful wide-angle night vision, and a free remote viewing account so you can check in from some place else.  Motion-triggered recording can be set up to send you notification via email or SMS if movement is sensed. If you do get an alert, you can use the Logitech Alert Web and Mobile Commander service to access all the controls, as if you were running on a home PC.
