Google’s Android Grabs 75% Of Smartphone Market in Q3 2012!

According to recent reports by IDC, Google’s Android Platform has acquired 75% of the smartphone market for the Third Quarter of 2012.

According to IDC, a total of 136 million smartphones running Google’s Android OS were shipped in the third quarter of 2012. This Compares to a total of 26.9 million smartphones running iOS, giving them a 14.9% share of the smartphone market.

In Third Place is RIM’s Blackberry OS with a 4.3% market share, which is then followed by a 2.3% market share by Symbian.
