Following up from their first announcement of the new Medal of Honor Warfighter game towards the end of February. EA has now released the gameplay trailer/teaser for their upcoming Medal of Honor Warfighter game currently in development by Danger Close Games.
The new Warfighter game is a direct sequel to the last Medal of Honor game launched in 2010, and will be the 14th Medal of Honor instalment in the series. Medal of Honor Warfighter will use DICE’s Frostbite 2 engine the same one used in Battlefield 3.
The Medal of Honor Warfighter game will also include a new multiplayer mode called Gladiator.
The Medal of Honor Warfighter multiplayer modes will let you choose between 12 different “Tier 1″ units from 10 different countries, like the British SAS, the Australian SASR, the German KSK and Polish GROM to name just a few.
Executive producer Greg Goodrich explains a little more about the game:
“For the first time in our franchise this game is not based on one historical event but multiple events connected by a single terror threat,”
“We’re going to take you behind the headlines to fight an enemy with many different faces. From rescuing hostages in the Philippines to eliminating the pirate threat on the Somali Coast, every single mission in this game has a dotted line to a real world event. If it sounds familiar you either read it online or you heard it reported on CNN.”
Medal of Honor Warfighter will be launched in Xbox 360, PC and PS3 console on October 23,2012 in North America and October 25,2012 in the UK Region.
